The latest collection of two, three and four bedroom family homes has now been launched, and buyers who are not eligible for the saving will still have their Stamp Duty costs paid by Linden Homes.
With prices starting at just £169,995 there are a range of incentives on offer at Northfields to help purchasers on to the ladder. For first-time buyers, Linden Homes has negotiated a 90% mortgage offer to which it will contribute a further 5%, while its Family Bond scheme promises family members a 10.25% annual return for two years on up to a 25% deposit they offer towards the purchase price.
For those looking to upgrade, Linden Homes will not only pay Stamp Duty costs but also pay legal fees and dovetail with an estate agent as part of Linden Assist to ensure that an existing property is sold within a pre-agreed and specified timescale. So, if you are looking for new property in Colchester at great value, then Northfields is the place to be.
Buyers have been quick off-the-mark, with four of the 35 homes for sale already snapped-up by eager purchasers since the launch on 10 April. This follows the success of phase one which sold out in less than six months.
Northfields is close to the town centre and boasts an excellent commuter location with direct trains to London in less than an hour and Stansted Airport around an hour by road. Colchester also has a number of sought-after primary and secondary schools so is perfect for families looking to live in an established and well connected town.
All the properties feature an open-plan living area, built-in kitchen appliances and secure private parking and are situated along picturesque tree-lined avenues. They are also built with traditional Essex materials such as timber weatherboarding and clay tiles to give a vernacular feel to the development.
Roseanne Bullen, Sales and Marketing Manager at Linden Homes Eastern, part of Galliford Try Homes, comments:
“The Chancellor’s decision to raise the Stamp Duty threshold is excellent news for first-time buyers, however, at Northfields everyone can benefit from a targeted range of incentives to help buyers on every rung of the property ladder.
“At Northfields we are building a community that will quickly become an established and sought-after place to live and this is what appeals to today’s new home buyers.”
